Member Meeting Minutes

January 20, 2024

President Lynn Ondercin called the meeting to order 11:30 AM

Welcome to new members and happy to see many other members at the meeting.

Minutes of the December Members Meeting were accepted and seconded by Toni Antweiler and Trudy Sampson

Treasurers Report - $6364.84 in treasury

Membership Report - we have 52 paid members.  Pam reminded us that the membership year is September to September.

Expo - Volunteers are needed to help in the classrooms.  Contact Judy or June. Registrations for the classes are going well.  The donated raffle items will be displayed at the reception for the Expressions Exhibit and then during the Expo weekend.

Next exhibit will be at Cape Coral Art Center February 2-22, 2024.  The title of the exhibit is “Expressions” and has an open theme.  Receiving is Monday, January 29 from 9 AM to noon.  Reception is Friday, February 2 from 5 PM to 7 PM and removal is February 23 9 AM-noon.

Members are requested to bring finger food to the reception to share.

Paul David Adamick explained the Guild’s Show corner and explained the months that are still available.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:00

We welcomed a guest speaker - Tom Hall outlined the Public Art in and around the city of Ft. Myers and the Otocast app that gives history and insight of Public Art.
